Conference Championship Game Predictions

San Diego @ New England

I really want to believe the Chargers will win but I just can't. It's going to take a perfect game for them to accomplish that and with injuries and uncertainties it will be near impossible. There is a high likelihood that the game will be close and that San Diego may even lead as late as the early 4th quarter. The Patriots, however, are perfect, and they will find a way to overcome. The only hope for Chargers supporters is that reality imitates fantasy and Billy Volek plays like the end of 2004 and LT plays like all of 2006. Patriots 35, Chargers 21

New York @ Green Bay

Again, I really want to pick an upset but just can't bring myself to do it. The Giants have been on a very impressive run, but it ends here. This their third straight week on the road and sixth in the last eight weeks. Add in the frigid temperatures and it should make for a tough day for New York. The magical season of Brett Favre continues and he gets a February date with Tom Brady in Phoenix. Packers 28, Giants 17
